Geodime has an in-house archaeologist and surveyor who has over 10 years working within the archaeological/heritage industry. We can assist with setting out (evaluation trenches, test pits, excavation and mitigation areas) as well as undertaking pre-excavation and post-excavation survey for the production of progress plans and final drawings. We can provide .dxf/.dwg and PDF outputs of your raw survey data – and/or further produce finished plans for your reports. We can also assist with all aspects of report illustration required for WSI’s, DBA’s, Evaluation and Excavation (PXA) reports.

Survey data can be combined with drone photography and photogrammetry to further help identify archaeological features as well as provide clients/stakeholders with progress plans and/or 3D models to enhance the archaeological record. These outputs also create a visually impactful resource which can also be used to boost public engagement.

Geodime also undertakes LiDAR surveys which can help identify and record areas of archaeological interest across large sites and we also undertake terrestrial laser scanning of heritage buildings.
